Demand Peaks in Israel
What do dozens of people getting stuck in elevators have to do with Sympower?
Due to the extreme heat wave experienced in the region, Israel reached an all time high peak consumption of 13.8 GW. Being so close to the maximum generation capacity, some blackouts occurred across the country causing dozens of people to get stuck in elevators on one of the hottest days of the year. The demand response services that Sympower is advancing in Israel can (and will!) help to manage the grid on challenging days like these.
